Default Strings in holland

Just wondering if anybody knew a good place in the netherlands to find bass strings? I'm on tour for about the next two weeks in holland. My steel A string is looking like its starting to unravel near the tuning peg. Also looking for spares for my Gut D and G. Anyone know where to get some good weedwacker line?

Also if anybody has any strings they might want to get rid of you could come out to one of our gigs and I should be able to get you on the list. Especially if anybody has any cordes lamberts that they are interested in selling.

Thanks! Bass strings are hard to find in shops

Where in the Netherlands will you be? I only know a few shops over there that have bass strings. And i have some heavily used velvets for free/a pack of cigarettes if you really need strings.

Exactly where in Holland are you? I know a good luthier in Rotterdam called Rogier Dieges: http://www.diegesdoublebass.com/index.php?page=en_home
Give him a call, he can probably help you.
Hope this helps.
Enjoy your stay in the low lands

Played The Hague last night, and then...
4/13 Vlissingen
4/14 Haarlem
4/15 Ottersum
4/17 Deventer
4/18 Rotterdam
4/19 Tilburg
4/20 Amsterdam, Paradiso
4/21 Nijmegen
4/22 Utrecht
4/24 Leiden
4/25 Heerlen
4/27 Wageningen
4/28 Groningen

That Luthier in Rotterdan looks pretty good, I might check him out. I'd like to show him my Chadwick Folding bass and see what he thinks.

A free set of Velvets sounds good too, ive been wanting to try these too. I probably wont use the D or G but I think Im going to need an A before this tour is over. I'll buy you a beer, alstublief. (Am I using/spelling that correctly?)

If anybody on here wants to come to a show, PM me, I should be able to get you in...

I don't know if i can make it to the show, but i could drop off the Velvet Anima E+A when you're in Amsterdam if you'd like. I'm not using them and now they're my back-up-back-up strings, so i won't be using them any time soon.

If you feel like dropping off some strings at the Paradiso, that would be awesome. Your back up back up strings would become my back up strings. If you dont get around to it, no big deal. I dont want you to go out of your way.
I will probably be checking out Dieges in Rotterdam so I might find something there first.

You should probably just come to the show though, and bring lots of friends.

Hey Joey,

Are you also going to other countries after your gigs in Holland?
Visiting Belgium maybe?

Ciao,

Norre

@BigBull: I'm from Schelle, a little village to the south of Antwerp (between Antwerp and Mechelen). I started a new (blues)band a couple of weeks ago. We don't have a name yet and we haven't done any gigs yet. We're working on a setlist and hope to do some gigs this summer.

@Joey: My wife and I are probably comming to see your band in Utrecht on 4/22. Looking forward to it. If you want I can bring some lightly used Obligatos with me. If you manage to get your hands on a set of Cordes Lambert please let me know. I've been trying to buy some for ages now and so far I haven't succeeded.

Hey Joey,

I was wondering if you found strings already.. Perhaps I've got something lying around. I'll have a look when I get the chance.

I would like to come n see you guys..! I really like your sound!!

Greets, Jurgen.

I have not got any strings yet. The A string seems to be holding up for now. We are playing at Ekko in Utretch. You should come on out!
